Atticus Street (Single Launch)
Louis’ Economy Shop
Doors 7:30pm / $10 Door
Emerging indie rockers Atticus Street are celebrating the release of their debut single, “Holding Out”, with what is sure to be an energetic and fun-filled night of music at the Workers Club Fitzroy on December 12.
With headline shows at the Toff In Town and Bar Open to their name, Atticus Street’s enthusiastic and uplifting live performances have caught the eyes and ears of many across Melbourne in 2017, their first year as a band. Their raw and upbeat debut single is the culmination of many months of work, recorded by way of a prize won in Freeza’s Push Start Battle of the Bands competition. Anchored by powerful grooves and unapologetically passionate lyrics exploring life, loss and love, Atticus Street are as committed as they come to putting on a great show.
Joining Atticus Street on the night are good friends Louis’ Economy Shop (formerly Elk & Mammoth), an awesome foursome of indie rockers with a wicked sense of humour, and the stylish beach-rock of Barefoot Spacemen, whose debut EP launch sold out the Grace Darling Hotel.
The Workers Club is the place to be on Tuesday December 12, come and dance to a stellar lineup of bands to celebrate 2017!
