Benoit & The Mountain Sounds
(Band Launch) (MATINEE)
Doors 1:00pm / $12+bf Presale (HERE) / $15 Door
Hailing from the hills of the Dandenong Ranges, Benoit mixes the lyrical influence of Bob Dylan with smooth, soulful acoustic guitar and vocals. He gathers influences from his surroundings and experiences, to tell stories that tug at the hearts and minds of his listeners.
For the first time ever, Benoit will release a number of his new songs with his backing group, The Mountain Sounds at The Workers Club on the 29th of October.
The Mountain Sounds consists of Graham King on drums, Samuel Young on bass, Zac Saynor on electric guitar, Juan Mendoza on Banjo and Lauren Miko on backing vocals.
Benoit will be joined by two unique songwriters; William Alexander, a folk storyteller who seeks to keep tradition alive as well as bring forth new stories in the form of his poetic, ballad-style songwriting and Meeko, a songwriter of poetic peace, recently returning from London to play her songs to those with ears to hear.
