Blue Howl make their Worker's Club debut for a long-awaited Melbourne headline show. Joining them will be alt-rock outfit Eastbound Buzz and blues craftsman Jarrod Shaw.
After a run of summer festivals, Blue Howl have taken to the rehearsal studio to produce new material and an energy-filled set for this special one-off live show.
Taking every crowd on a journey through stripped-back folk to heavy rock, Blue Howl are busily building a reputation for their captivating shows. Soaring vocals blend within soundscapes of guitars and drums to deliver music that is equally intense and delicate. Their 2017 cover of The Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony' garnered widespread attention and was followed up by their release of a live take of their upbeat single 'Spider'.
Eastbound Buzz will be coming fresh off their 2018 tour launching their new single 'Do It Right'. The boys have been taking their guitar-soaked sound to venues across the country to back up this release and now bring it back to their hometown in Melbourne.
Kicking off the afternoon will be Jarrod Shaw; a master of driving blues rhythms, finger-picked guitar and a powerful voice often described as belying his years. Carrying a unique guitar approach lying somewhere between piedmont fingerstyle and the blues of the delta, he's a conjurer of sorcery that won't let you stop tapping your foot to his tunes.
