Monday 28th August
Strangers In Town
Doors 7:00pm / Free Entry to the Bandroom
Sorry Jon Snow, Winter is no longer coming, Winter is now going. Uni exams are over as well, so this calls for a celebration. On Monday 28th August, The Workers Club will play host to a massive night of 4 up and coming Melbourne Bands. Opening up the night with their own unique brand of skate punk will be Le Pine. The boys have recently dropped their new single “Sofa Surfer”, and will be sure to bring the party vibes and get the night started.
Up next is Colour Fires, an alternative rock band consisting of three members from differing musical backgrounds. The band blends a variety of sounds to create a very broad style of rock music. Following Colour Fires will be Strangers In Town, who are no strangers to the Melbourne Ska-Punk Scene. They’ve recently dropped their debut album “Welcome To The Ozzie Dream”, and are sure to get the crowd moving and singing along. Capping off the night will be Valerie Avenue, fresh onto the Melbourne scene with their own take on the Pop/Rock/Punk genre. The band has recently been recording at Melbourne's "Debasement Studios" and is gearing up to release their debut EP in late 2017.
